The Pump House

The pump house was located between the Powerhouse and the Reservoir.The pump house was connect to the 12 inch water main that went to the Detroit House of Corrections and from what I can tell by looking at the 1942 Sanborn map didn't really have anything to do with the Wayne County Training School. It did have a few Fire Hydrants along its path across the north part of the school but was not connected to anything else on the property. The reservoir was connected to the City of Detroit water service. The Reservoir was apparently shared by the Powerhouse and DEHOCO.
