          Maxine Lemler Funeral services and burial were conducted Saturday in Ann Arbor, Mich., for Mrs. Maxine LEMLER, 50, who was killed last Tuesday in a car-truck collision near Dowagiac, Mich. Mrs. Lemler was the daughter of E. L. MITCHELL, Rochester. He and his wife now are teaching in Marion county schools but return to their home here for the summers. Mrs. Lemler was returning to Ann Arbor from Plymouth, where she and her husband had attended funeral rites for her father-in-law, Howard LEMLER. Her husband, Ford [LEMLER], had remained in Plymouth to bring his mother to Ann Arbor later in the week. The accident occurred five miles north of Dowagiac on M-40. According to Cass county sheriff’s deputies, Mrs. Lemler’s northbound auto went out of control, skidded across the highway and struck an on-coming semi-trailer a glancing blow before smashing into its rear wheels. The truck driver, Carl KLOCKNER, 52, Kalamazoo, Mich., was unhurt. Mrs. Lemler, who evidently fell asleep at the wheel of her car, is believed to have died instantly in the crash. She is survived by her husband, an instrctor at the University of Michigan; her father and stepmother; one sister, Marguerite [MITCHELL]; two half-sisters,
