William H. Maybury

          After completing the construction of the Detroit, AKA Springhill TB Sanatorium in the early 1920's, William H Maybury began designing the layout for the recently approved Wayne County Training School. He personally staked out the building locations. When construction started the stakes placed by Maybury never needed to be moved more then a few feet.
